PT SZOT, founded in 1996 as a family business, has grown quickly from a small business to a medium-sized company. How did it happen? Agnieszka and Darek Zyzało met each other on Czarna Hańcza’s route. Then, they got married and decided to share their passion for kayaking…

SZOT BASE in Augustów

Our main base is located in Augustów, 400 m away from Augustów Canal. The second kayak rental point can be found in Wigry.

At the fenced area you can find:

• PT SZOT office,
• Villa Skomanda hotel – comfortable rooms, restaurant,
• summer houses with bathrooms,
• playground for children,
• barbeque sheltered area with a fireplace ~ for 60 ppl.,
• outdoor, wood-burning sauna,
• rental office, kayaks, bikes, Nordic walking poles,
• parking area.

Available to purchase in SZOT office: maps, waterproof phone cases, sun hats and raincoats, souvenirs.

In the neighborhood you will find a large grocery shop & bakery, where you can do some shopping before you start the trip.

Villa Skomanda’s Restaurant:
– buffet breakfasts served between: 7.30 AM – 10.00 AM
– dinner menu: 2.00 PM – 9.30 PM
– coffee, tea, beer bar, desserts, ice-cream
